Mini Link It

Minilink it is a URL shortner application. It takes a long URL, say an amazon link, and converts it into a short url that is easier to share to users.

Motivation

I've always seen bityl and tinyurl and thought about the design and architecture of the apps so I decided to design my own architecture and make a similar app. I also wanted to make a video working on a relatively easy project so people who are learning how to code can follow along.

Lessons Learnt
